Check Out Free Georgia State Park Parking Pass, Plus Backpack, Binoculars

We’ve got several activities going on at the library during the month of April.

Our fourth annual Health and Wellness Fair for adults will be Saturday, April 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Library services will be available as well. More details on this next week.

The Book Club will meet Tuesday, April 17, at 7 p.m. to discuss Contempt of Court.

Family Movie Day is Thursday, April 19, at 3:30 p.m. Call the library that week for the name of the film.

There will be a computer class on Beginning Excel on Tuesday, April 24. There will be one session at 10 a.m. and one at 6 p.m. Call the library at (706) 657-7857 to register. The class is free.

Ready to Read will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursdays as usual.

As spring weather gets here, you may be thinking about a trip to Cloudland Canyon. Parking passes for the state parks may be checked out at the library. We have four available, so that you don’t have to pay for parking. The park passes can be used at other state parks as well.

We have one backpack that can be checked out that has booklets on Georgia wildlife, birds, trees and wildflowers. It also contains a set of binoculars.

Park passes may be checked out for one week.
