Billy Plumlee



William (Billy) Franklin Plumlee, 73, of Trenton, died Wednesday, Aug. 15. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Burma Plumlee; parents, James and Virginia Plumlee; stepmother, Nancy L. Plumlee; sister Carmen Tinker; and brothers Joe Plumlee and Robert Plumlee.

He is survived by his daughter, Malinda (David) Davis; sons, Jimmy (Martha) Plumlee and Michael (Gina) Plumlee; eight grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sisters Evelyn Schirmer, Helen Hoge, Bernice Brown, Paula Pace and Nancy Plumlee; brother David Plumlee; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and church family.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. EDT Friday, Aug. 17, in the Bryant chapel with Brother Steve Townson and Brother David Moses officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is Thursday 4-8 p.m. EDT and Friday 9 a.m.-1 p.m. EDT.
