On Sunday, the DeKalb County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Office received a call about a body that was found in a field on County Road 592 in the Sylvania area by someone bush hogging the property.
DeKalb County deputies and investigators including Gary Williams, along with Sylvania and Henagar police and Jacksonville State Forensics Science investigators, all responded to the scene. They found the female body unresponsive.
The body, which has not been identified at this time, was transported by the DeKalb County Coroner’s office to the Department of Forensic Science in Huntsville for an autopsy. This is still an ongoing investigation and no further information can be released at this time.
