Drunk, and Not Supposed to Be There Anyway, PLUS Car Chase Through Trailer Park: Sgt. Chad Reports

Sgt. Chad Payne is information officer for the Dade County Sheriff's Office. On Monday, May 14, he reported as follows:

 

On Wednesday, May 9, at approximately 9 p.m., Dade County deputies were dispatched to a residence on Worley Chapel Road in response to a disturbance. When the deputies arrived, they located a female on the porch of the residence, and she was found to be intoxicated. The resident advised that the female wasn't supposed to be there, so she was removed from the ​​residence and transported to the jail for booking.

Audrey E. Natalizia (left), 57, of Trenton, was charged with public drunkenness.  

 

 

 

On Friday, May 11, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Dade County deputies observed a vehicle traveling on Highway 299 with no working tag light. After a deputy activated his emergency lights and siren for a traffic stop, the vehicle turned in to 1900 Highway 299 (Templeton Trailer Park) and began attempting to elude the deputy.

 

After going through yards and driveways, the vehicle came to a stop and the male driver fled the scene on foot into some adjacent woods. The female passenger was secured and two deputies and a K-9 officer went into the woods to locate the driver. The driver was shortly located and brought back to the vehicle.

 

​​A search of the vehicle yielded a methamphetamine seizure and marijuana seizure. Both occupants of the vehicle were eventually transported to the jail for booking and are currently still being house in Dade County.

 

​​The driver, Kerry L Capps (left) 30, of unknown residence, was charged with

  • Possession of Methamphetamine

  • Felony Fleeing and/or Attempting to Elude

  • Possession of a Schedule 2 Drug with Intent to Distribute

  • Possession of Drug-Related Objects

  • Possession of Marijuana

  • Driving Without a License

  • Obstruction of Law Enforcement 

  • Tag Lights Required. 

 

 The passenger, Amber K. Reed (right), 28, of Wildwood, was charged with

  • Possession of Methamphetamine

  • Possession of a Schedule 2 Drug with Intent to Distribute

  • Possession of Drug-Related Objects

  • Possession of Marijuana.
