The library is a good place to complete your 2020 census if you haven’t already. The staff will get you set up with a computer and it takes 10 minutes or less. There are only nine questions and it’s important that Dade County be counted.
On Thursday, July 9, our storytime craft will be Fairy Doors. This will be on Facebook Live at 10:30 a.m. on the 9th, but will be available after that if you don’t make that time. Pick up your craft kit at the library.
The next Touch-Free Activity at the library will be another Mini Museum and it will be up from July 9 to July 15.
Be sure to log in the books your children have read on BeanStack so they will be eligible for prizes at the end of Summer Reading.
On Tuesday, July 14, there will be an adult program on building Fairy Houses. We saw many of these while touring a horse farm in Ireland last year. Come by the library before July 14 to pick up the supplies that you will need. Check out Facebook Live on the Dade County Library’s Facebook page for directions on how to make your Fairy House.
Adults, also remember Bounce Back Bingo. Get a Bingo card at the library and you have until July 17 to Bingo and turn your card in to be in the drawing for gift cards from the Bank of Dade. Directions for the game are on the card.
Watch the library’s Facebook page and our electronic signs on the square for any updates about hours or activities at the library.
